Group History
Bingara Local Landcare formed in May 2005 with Debi Bancroft as Chair and Renae Hill as Secretary/ Treasurer.

Projects undertaken so far
Projects undertaken so far include providing support for Bingara Central School's Bush food Native Garden and the Halls Creek Carp Muster in 2006.

Bingara Local Landcare rehabilitating sections of Halls Creek thanks to a fencing grant from OneSteel Waratah’s Fencing Grant Program.

Group focus
To remediate soil erosion of stream banks in Halls Creek in Bingara.

Issues relevant to the BLL area
Soil erosion and weed and feral animal control

Halls Creek Educational DVD: The BLL are currently putting together a DVD that looks at Halls Creek. The DVD identifies and defines the issues associated with Halls Creek and looks at solutions that would assist with its rehabilitation.
