The UGLA held their Annual General Meeting on 28th November 2008. We were encouraged by the large attendance and were successful in attracting new and enthusiastic committee members.

The committee for UGLA 2009 consists of:

Chair Bob Muir
Bob continues as our very able leader. This will be Bob’s second year as chairman. Bob is also chairman of Whitlow Landcare.

Vice Chair Ray Robinson
Ray also has had a long history with Landcare, he was the inaugural Chairman of Gineroi Landcare. Ray has maintained his interest in Landcare and we welcome his input to the committee.

Secretary/Treasurer Steve Adams
Steve continues his long involvement with Landcare, having being past Chairman of UGLA. Steve is also Secretary of Gineroi Landcare.

UGLA Committee Members

Sharaan Robinson
Sharaan is the Secretary for the very active Warialda Rivercare group. Warialda Rivercare Groups major project is the improvement of the Warialda Creek and the riparian zone in the township of Warialda.

Ian Armstrong
Ian is a member of the Whitlow Landcare Group. We were fortunate to visit Ian’s property on the Landcare Adventure. Ian has installed a large water system on Arabanoo and has participated in pasture improvement and machinery conversion.

Don Capel
Don is a member of the Rocky Creek Landcare group. Don has implemented innovative projects on The Oaks including water reticulation and fencing to land capability.

David Nicolle
David is located in the Halls Creek area and has been involved with the Halls Creek Remediation project. David has implemented environmental works on Orange grove.

Paul Moulton
While Paul is relatively new to town many of us know him. He has a keen interest in Landcare and the environment generally. We look forward to Pauls contribution to the UGLA.
