The Upper Gwydir Landcare Association (UGLA) is an umbrella organisation that broadly covers the Bingara, Warialda, Gravesend and Upper Horton areas. The Association is managed by a committee that has been formed via representatives from those areas.

The Association has a Community Support Officer that is primarily funded by the Border Rivers – Gwydir CMA, with the Gwydir Shire Council assisting with the management, housing, employment and payroll functions. Both the CMA and Council have undertaken to continue this form of support into the future.
